About the Digital Library
The BEA digital library, first launched on June 30, 2006, presents important documents related to the history of the U.S. national economic accounts. Currently, the library includes Survey of Current Business articles from 1934 to 1992. It also includes the first two volumes from the Conference on Research in Income and Wealth, published in 1937 and 1938, a collection of annual review articles covering 1937-1974, and a collection of selected other documents containing articles of economic importance. Additional materials will be added in the future.
BEA appreciates the permission granted by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) to reproduce volumes from the Conference on Research in Income and Wealth.
Documents can be viewed as image files or in bound PDF versions. All documents are full-text searchable. They are not necessarily available in physical form to the public.
BEA welcomes your feedback. Comments, questions, and suggestions for additional documents can be e-mailed to bealibrary@bea.gov.
