This report on national income was prepared by the Bureau of Foreign and Domestic Commerce’s Division of Economic Research in response to Senate Resolution 220 of the 72nd Congress. This report provides and explains the first Department of Commerce estimates of national income for the years 1929 to 1932. It includes detailed information on output, employment, and income by industry.
